A gorgeous original specimen with a very rich, warm full red tone. This 1909 VDB is a great type coin for a Lincoln Cent, especially with the 2009 anniversary coming that will change the design of the penny. This coin is fully struck and problem-free, with no carbon spots on either side. A few contact marks near the date and a trace of a partial print in the same field keep it just shy of MS66 RD. The reverse is one of the most spectacular I've ever seen on a Lincoln Cent. I wish I could have captured the true feel of it with the camera.
