Beautiful original patina on this one with the obverse showing a nice vignette of rich orange-red around the rims fading into more of a blast golden red towards the center. The reverse is a mature brick red. This coin is an obvious early die state, with needle sharp details on both sides and sharp, boxy edges on the date and all lettering. Both sides are spotless and mark-free--this is an honest original gem.
